Call for papers: Innovating for change in global fisheries governance
The K. G. Jebsen Centre for the Law of the Sea of the Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø just announced a symposium entitled ‘Innovating for Change in Global Fisheries Governance’. The symposium aims to address the following question: How can international law be used as an innovative mechanism for change in global fisheries governance? Early career scholars are in particular encouraged to participate. The deadline for abstracts submissions of abstracts is 30 April 2016. Further information is available here.

FAO: Palau Ratifies Port State Measures Agreement
On the 1st December 2015 Palau ratified the FAO Port State Measures Agreement (PSMA) to become the 15th party following the accession of Somalia on the 9th November 2015.
