A workshop on the International Seabed Authority (ISA) Environmental Management Strategy for the Area will be held in Berlin, Germany from 19-24 March 2017. The workshop aims to assist the Authority in developing a long-term Environmental Management Strategy for the Area. It will deal with governance issues such as overarching principles, regional planning and adaptive management. The outcome of the workshop should provide a first structured and interdisciplinary input on the draft Environmental Regulations taking into account the deliberations by the Legal and Technical Committee in February 2017.
