Unite Ideas (a United Nations platform) shall host a global hackathon, entitled, Reboot The Ocean, welcoming submissions on 5 critical challenges identified for a healthy and productive ocean by 2030: (1) Sustainable seafood; (2) Set sail for decarbonized shipping; (3) Harnessing ocean electricity; (4) Mapping the ocean; and (5) End waste entering the ocean. Submissions are welcome until 20th May 2020.
