Call for Input: Special Rapporteur’s HRC Report 2021 (Migrant Pushback Practices)

The Special Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants, appointed by the United Nations Human Rights Council, has issued a call for input, entitled, Report on pushback practices and their impact on the human rights of migrants. This explicitly includes the pushback of migrants at sea. Submissions from Member States, civil society, academia, National Human Rights Institutions and other stakeholders is welcome until 1 February 2021. Input will be used to inform the Special Rapporteur’s forthcoming report to the 47^th session of the Human Rights Council.
